What's a visit with me like?

For a typical visit, i begin by asking a mom what her goals are, getting a history, doing an assessment of mom and baby, observing a feeding, getting a weight to figure out what baby eats and making a plan together. When families book with me, I follow up the next day and for as long as needed to resolve issue within reason by text/e-mail/phone.

Describe your philosophy towards breastfeeding and feeding.
I want to help families with their hopes and dreams of nurturing their babies.

What is your favorite part of working with new parents and infants?
I just love seeing parents and babies fall in love with each other.

Describe any particular areas of expertise related to feeding
I have experience in hospitals with the first week of life, premature babies, tongue and lip ties, colic and reflux and milk supply/plugged ducts.
