Health Precautions & Exposure
We are a Covid cautious family. My spouse works from home and she will be fully vaccinated by the end of 2/21; we only see my parents outside and masked. Other than essential errands (i.e. grocery shopping), my only exposure is through the families with whom I work.
I ask that if any family members are feeling ill that they contact me to reschedule.
I am a proud MoM (mother of multiples), a postpartum doula, a community educator, a writer and an aspiring Lactation Counselor and Babywearing Educator. I live with my amazing wife and our children in Hampton, New Hampshire. My passion is supporting all families as they connect with each other and move through all the seasons of their life together. When I am not doula-ing or hanging out with my awesome kids and wife, I am most happy when I am reading. I am a lifelong book lover and I am super enthusiastic about how books connect families and help parents raise kind, compassionate children. To share this love of reading, I chat about books on social media and blogs and I am a community bookseller. I also teach classes at Relief Parenting that connect kids with books.
How do you help new parents?
I am dedicated to ensuring that all families have equitable and affordable access to postpartum care. I help parents with all different backgrounds get the support they need and deserve.
Why did you pursue this career?
I have twins and when I found out what a doula does, I wished that I knew about it early in my parenting journey. Nobody is born knowing how to take care of a newborn and not everybody has the community around them to fully support early parenthood. For these reasons, I wanted to get involved and become a postpartum doula.
