    What's a visit with me like?

    A typical visit begins with a consent and full history, includes feeding and oral assessments, weight check and evaluation of any breast/nipple issues. I am also able to support back-to-work planning, pumping support and re-lactation or induced lactation. I always conclude a visit with a review of the care plan, making sure everyone feels comfortable with the next steps. I am available for phone and email support as needed.


    Describe your philosophy towards breastfeeding and feeding.
    I think breastfeeding should be a positive experience for mom and baby and aim to support a family’s goals while being mindful of their health and well being.

    What is your favorite part of working with new parents and infants?
    I love getting to know and support parents during a challenging and exciting time.

    Describe any particular areas of expertise related to feeding
    I specialize in supporting moms with preterm babies through my work at the NICU at UMASS and through my personal experience giving birth to two of my daughters at 28 and 29 weeks.
