What's a visit with me like?

Visits start off with introductions and having the parents describe any issues they are having and coming up with a plan for the visit. Assessments typically include an oral assessment on baby, feeding assessment, weighted feed if necessary, and formulating a plan moving forward. Email/call support are typically included with visits however if i'm unable to solve via email and call a follow-up will be suggested.

Describe your philosophy towards breastfeeding and feeding.
My mission is to serve my community by providing the most compassionate, comprehensive lactation services to all families. I promise to offer the highest level of care with evidence-based lactation practice. My vision is to support families by meeting them wherever they are in their parenting journey and help guide them with individual care plans designed to meet their needs. My philosophy is guided by compassion, integrity, peace and love.

What is your favorite part of working with new parents and infants?
My favorite part of working with new parents and their babes is educating them on feeding and other areas of newborn care and watching them become confident in their own parenting style. A little extra TLC for new parents can go a long way toward ensuring they feel supported and less isolated.

Describe any particular areas of expertise related to feeding
Preemies/NICU graduates, infant's with chronic health conditions, infant's with tethered oral tissues, multiples, pumping

“Casey could not have been better to work with. She made me feel very comfortable and loved that she comes to my house. She’s extremely kind, knowledgeable and has a lot of great referrals to specialists. She was available when I needed her and responsive to calls and texts. I would love for any new mom to meet with Casey and feel confident in how they feed their baby.”
