    Health Precautions & Exposure

I’m open to taking a rapid test every 2 weeks. Looking after 1-2 families at a time. My kids are doing hybrid virtual and in-person school. To help families feel more comfortable with the handling of their newborn I change shoes when entering the home, wear scrubs and change my shirt upon entering. When holding the newborn I make an effort to use a blanket to put over my shoulder.

    Introduce yourself!
I have 4 kids (including twins!). My family loves to go skiing and in the summers hang out at the beach we always try to stay active and busy (we’re a big hockey family my daughter does Irish step dancing). I actually studied dance and taught ballet and moved into a career as a medical transcriptionist and wanted to work in L&D and Pediatrics but then had babies and was drawn to the 4th Trimester and taking care of families.

How do you help new parents?
I will provide supporting materials and education on newborn care as much as the family asks for but ultimately I let the family make the decision and support whatever they decide. At the start of my visit I ask them “What is the most important thing to you today?” and I’m flexible to whatever their needs are.

Why did you pursue this career?
Being a mom of twins really opened up my eyes to the challenges new parents face in the 4th Trimester especially with multiples! I am very passionate about newborn care and supporting families during the postpartum period so when I started providing overnight care I realized I wanted to learn more about supporting families and that is why I pursued formal doula training (postpartum and birth).

“Bryanne’s services were the most valuable investment I made during my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about supporting women during pregnancy and delivery, and I could not have had such an amazing birth experience without her guidance. She was always a text or call away, and when complications arose toward the end of my pregnancy, she was there by my side at a moments notice. When my nurses and midwife could not be there during my labor, Bryanne was. She educated me about the delivery process, helped me advocate for myself, encouraged me, and offered an incredible sense of calm throughout my labor and immediately postpartum. I am so thankful for her!!”

“We had the privilege of working with Bryanne during the birth of our identical twin boys Bryanne stood out because of her warmth, cheerfulness, and punctuality. The icing on the cake was that she had also experienced a twin pregnancy and birth of her own!
During the birth, she was wonderful and rarely left our side for over a day of labor. My memory is a bit hazy, but one amazing thing she did was massage my hands with some nice lotion – so relaxing! She also provided a lot of support to both my mom and my husband. I don’t think I let go of her hand during the entire birth, and when the boys were whisked away to the NICU with my husband, she stayed with me and kept me talking while they put me back together – I can’t imagine being alone for that! She even helped me send a selfie to my husband.

Ultimately, we are so grateful that Bryanne was with us on our journey to bring our beautiful boys into the world! She was positive and calming throughout what was at times a very intense experience, and it was such a blessing to have her there for all of us! I highly recommend Bryanne to any mom-to-be but especially to future twin-mamas!”
